![]() Be ready to transition your build or expectations for sign usage.Ĭonductors of Magic likely is best for a pure Sign build (Piercing Cold just doesn't work nearly as well at level 65+, though I guess you could aim for using it more for utility while focusing your damage output on swords instead). I talk below about build shifts over time as your level increases (not related to difficulty in my understanding):Īt about level 65 or so, Aard (and Axii outside of dialogue uses) lose a lot of their effectiveness. Here's a video on the logistics of prep for NG+ that I highly recommend: Greater Green Whirl 5/5 Heightened Tolerance 5/5 Acquired Tolerance 3/3 (vitality +450) Greater Red: Muscle Memory 5/5 Precise Blows 5/5 Undying 5/5 (attack power +40%) Thank you very much in advance, here is their skill set up, and relatively final armour/weapon stats: Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. ![]() They haven’t used a single damn glyph ever, nor have they used the Runewright past spending all the money on him to finish the quest. They use appropriate oils when fighting monsters if they need it, shoot flying things down with the crossbow first and keep it down with aard, however with humans it’s mostly burn them and whirl around till they’re dead. ![]() Particular emphasis on Ignii, didn’t use Quen all that much, and Axii was mostly there for dialogue unlocks.įrom me watching them play, they are smart in how they go about fighting different enemies. They enjoyed Ignii, Aard and Yrden the most. They are also used to spamming food and swallow in times of need, and didn’t use a whole lot of decoctions. They enjoyed memorising attack patterns and their play style is very much hack and slash, retreat and repeat with very little technique (didn’t bother too much with parrying or trying to get behind enemies, they’d rather burn their shield off). They don’t want a totally op build, but still something powerful. Some notes from them: They want it to feel like their first play through, not so difficult they’re afraid of battles, but not so easy that they don’t feel like they need to prepare. Hi guys! I finally convinced my friend to start NG+ on Death March, but they have no idea what build will suit them best, so I said I’d ask the lovely people of Reddit to help out. ![]()
